  Theme 1: Understanding Changes

  • identify and compare - Nuclear, Joint and Single Parent Families;
  • share and reflect on changes in family, neighbourhood and environment;
  •  discuss and compare changes in lifestyle, food, shelter, clothing, transport and entertainment;
  •  reflect positively and verbally on gender related issues;
  • draw a timeline to depict the birthdates of family members;
  • discuss and list important holidays and festivals.

   

  Theme 2: Community: Helping Each Other

   

  • identify and appreciate different people in community who help us and show respect towards them;
  •  discuss and acknowledge the interdependence between people in society for various services;

• Recomended Audience:

   

  The audience of this course is students of Grade-3 from ICSE Board. All the Chapters are well designed and its coverage as per latest curriculum released by the board. Still Student have complete flexibility to enhance or modify the course coverage during the course of learning process with Teacher. We are expecting that students of Grade-3 should drive their classes with Teacher as per chapters mentioned and also as per syllabus of their school and applicable School district or Board.

• Pre-Requisite Requirement:

  For attending this course, prior knowledge of Grade-2 EVS  is required, this course assumes that students have prior experience with all the topics of EVS  of Grade-2. This is not an introductory class for absolute beginners on EVS  of Grade-2. Participants should already be familiar with the basic learning objective.
