The ISC Class 12 Biology is an elective subject that is a must-study for all students aspiring for medical science careers. Biology is a fascinating subject that is defined as the scientific study of living things. From the largest mammals to the microscopic amoeba, biology encompasses all living organisms and how they function. ISC Class 12 Biology is not everyone’s cup of tea and is mostly opted by students who want to pursue a career in the medical domain. Biology is essential for those looking to become a doctor, nurse, agriculturist, or forensic scientist.

For attending this course, prior knowledge of Grade-11 Biology is required, this course assumes that students have prior experience with all the topics of Biology of Grade-4. This is not an introductory class for absolute beginners on Biology of Grade-11! Participants should already be familiar with the basic ideas of the subject.

Hi ! I am Arpita Gupta from Greater Noida. There is a great saying “Do what you love, Love what you do”. As studying is my hobby and gives me pleasure, it’s good to teach and understand how our next generation is growing and makes me upgraded. I began my career as a middle school teacher in Shree Sanatan dharam Education center and
during that time I pursued my Bachelors of education ,and also qualified the Central Teaching Eligibility Test .I worked in CBSE and ICSE board schools for 7 years and then switched to BYJUs online teaching platform and joined the coalition as an online teacher.

    a) Reproduction in organisms : Reproduction , characteristics, features of all organisms for continuation of species , modes of reproduction – asexual and sexual ,  binary fission ,sporulation ,budding  , gem mule formation ,fragmentation ,  vegetative propagation in plants.
    b) Sexual reproduction in flowering plants  :-  Flower structure ; development of male and  female gametophyte; pollination ;- it’s type ,agencies, and examples ; outbreeding devices ; pollen – pistil interaction ; double fertilization; post fertilization; development of seeds  and formation of fruits in plants ; special modes – apomixes  , parthenocarpy ,  significance of seed dispersal and fruit formation .   
    c) Human reproductio :- Male and female reproductive system ; microscopic anatomy of testis and ovary ; gametogenesis – spermatogenesis and oogenesis;  menstrual cycle ; fertilization; embryo development ; pregnancy and placenta formation  ; parturition ; lactation .
