For attending this course, prior knowledge of Grade-3  Maths  is required, this course assumes that students have prior experience with all the topics of Maths  of Grade-3. This is not an introductory class for absolute beginners on Maths  of Grade-3. Participants should already be familiar with the basic learning objective.

  • Course Outline:

    Theme 1:  Number Sense

    • Read and write numbers up to 6 digits (lac) using Indian system of writing large numbers;
    • Use place value to write a number in expanded form and vice versa;
    • compare numbers using place value and arranges them in ascending and descending
    • Order
    • use the given 6 digits to form the greatest and smallest number;
    • represent numbers (up to 39) by Roman Numerals:
    • Work with fractions:
    •  identify half, one-fourth, three-fourths in a given picture (by paper folding) and also in a  collection of objects.
    • represent fractions as half, one-fourth and three-fourths by using symbols
    • Respectively.
    • Show equivalence  of1/2and 2/4 And other fractions.

     

    Theme 2. Number Operations

    • Add and subtract numbers (up to 4 digits) with or without regrouping;
    • Solve problems involving addition and subtraction in different real life contexts presented

    The audience of this course is students of Grade-4 from ICSE Board. All the Chapters are well designed and its coverage as per latest curriculum released by the board. We are expecting that students of Grade-4 should drive their classes with Teacher as per chapters mentioned and also as per syllabus of their school and applicable School district or Board.
